Analytics & Session Insights

We use two privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics tools — Plausible Analytics and our self-hosted Umami instance (we are migrating from Plausible to Umami, so both run in parallel for now). Neither sets cookies nor tracks you across other websites. They collect aggregated, anonymised data such as:

Page views and the pages visited
Referrer information (the site you arrived from)
General location (country-level only)
Device type and browser

Our Umami instance also runs session replay on a sample of visits. This records anonymised interaction data — such as mouse movement, clicks and scrolling — to help us find and fix usability problems. It runs with strict masking: all text, and anything you type into a form, is masked and never captured, and it sets no cookies. Recordings are kept only for a limited period and used solely to diagnose usability issues.

Data Storage and Security

Your contact form submissions are sent to us by email via Cloudflare Email Service and handled securely. Any files you attach are uploaded to Cloudflare R2 storage hosted in the European Union and are automatically deleted after 30 days. Personal data we hold in our website database (Cloudflare D1) is likewise stored under Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction, within the European Union. Our website runs on Cloudflare's global network, so request processing may take place outside the EU; any such transfers are governed by Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses (including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum). We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

Cookies

Data Retention

We retain your contact information for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and provide our services. Files attached to enquiries are automatically deleted from our storage 30 days after upload. If you request deletion of your data, we will delete it within 30 days unless we're required to retain it for legal purposes.
