Hi, I'm Larry
I've been building SCORM courses and helping organizations solve their e-learning challenges since 2019. What started as a fascination with how learning management systems track course completion has turned into a career I genuinely love.
I work from the UK, serving clients across the world who need SCORM courses that actually work—not just technically compliant files, but engaging learning experiences that track properly, play nicely with any LMS, and help people learn effectively.
How I Got Here
My journey into e-learning started in 2019 when I was tasked with creating an interactive website for a training project. What I didn't realize at the time was that it needed to work inside an LMS and track user progress. That's when I discovered SCORM. I spent hours reading the specification (yes, all of it), figuring out how the API worked, and eventually built something that actually tracked properly.
What I discovered was that SCORM isn't actually that complicated—it's just poorly explained. Once you understand how the API works, how data tracking flows, and what LMS platforms actually expect, building courses that work becomes straightforward.
Over the past 6+ years, I've built dozens of SCORM courses covering diverse topics—from compliance training to product education to soft skills development. I've troubleshot more tracking issues than I can count and worked with everyone from small training teams to large enterprises.
"I don't just build SCORM packages—I build learning experiences that happen to be wrapped in SCORM. There's a difference."
What I Believe
Good e-learning isn't about flashy animations or the latest authoring tool. It's about understanding your learners, designing clear content, and delivering it in a way that works reliably across every device and every LMS.
I believe in building courses that respect people's time. That means clear learning objectives, efficient navigation, and tracking that actually tells you what you need to know about learner progress.
I also believe in honest communication. If something can't be done with SCORM, I'll tell you. If there's a simpler solution than what you're asking for, I'll suggest it. My reputation is built on delivering what I promise, not overselling capabilities.
"Technical excellence matters, but so does being easy to work with."
How I Work
When you work with me, you work directly with me—not an account manager or junior developer. I keep my client list intentionally small so I can give each project the attention it deserves.
I'm available by email, phone, or video call during UK business hours (9am-6pm GMT). I respond to messages within a few hours, not days. I send weekly progress updates for longer projects, and I'm always happy to jump on a call to talk through questions.
I quote fixed prices for projects when possible, so you know exactly what you're paying upfront. For consultation work, I bill hourly with a cap that we agree on beforehand. No surprise invoices, no scope creep without discussion.
Fast Response
Same-day replies during UK business hours
Quality Guaranteed
30 days of adjustments included with every project
Clear Communication
Regular updates, no jargon, honest advice
Meet Scout
Meet Scout, the SCORM Specialist mascot. Scout represents how I approach every project: helpful, loyal, and always ready to guide you through the technical complexity of SCORM development.
Scout represents how I work: dependable, focused, and committed to getting the job done right. It's a reminder that even technical work should have personality and warmth. E-learning is about people, after all.
You'll see Scout throughout this site, representing different aspects of the work I do. Think of Scout as your friendly guide through the sometimes-confusing world of SCORM development.
