SCORM Support Desk · Monthly retainer # **Your customers' SCORM tickets, **handled

You publish the course. I deal with every "it won't mark complete in our LMS" ticket your customers raise, directly with their LMS admin if needed, for a fixed monthly fee. Built for training providers who ship SCORM into systems they don't control.

Who this is for ## **Is this you? ** The support desk is for organisations that sell or distribute SCORM courses into other people's LMSs. If any of these sound familiar, it will pay for itself. ### **It completes in SCORM Cloud but not in their LMS** Your package passes every test you can run, then a customer on Cornerstone, Workday or Moodle says it never marks complete. You can't reproduce it because you don't have their system. ### **Your ops team became the SCORM helpdesk by accident** Nobody was hired to debug LMS launch settings, yet every customer ticket lands on the same person. Each one costs a day of someone's time and goodwill with the customer. ### **You publish into hundreds of LMSs you don't control** Membership schemes, professional bodies, compliance vendors and agencies all ship the same course into wildly different systems. The variations are endless. The fixes usually aren't.Clear boundaries ## **What's covered ** A support desk only works when both sides know what a ticket is. Here is the line. ### **Included **- **✓**Triage of customer-reported launch and tracking faults: completion, pass/fail, scores, resume, suspend data, API not found, manifest and import errors - **✓**Reproduction in SCORM Cloud, then in your customer's LMS where they allow it - **✓**Package-level fixes: manifest and JavaScript patches, publish-setting changes in your authoring tool - **✓**A plain-English explanation of each fix that you can forward to the customer - **✓**Direct contact with your customer's LMS admin, on your behalf, when you want it - **✓**A running compatibility log per client: LMS, symptom, root cause, fix - **✓**A short monthly report: tickets handled, hours used, patterns worth fixing at source ### **Not included **- **–**General LMS administration for your customers: enrolments, reporting, single sign-on - **–**New content, new modules, video or design changes - **–**Authoring-tool licences. You supply a seat, or republish from my instructions - **–**Evenings, weekends or 24/7 cover. The desk runs on UK business days - **–**A promise that every package works on every LMS. The promise is diagnosis and a fix plan within the SLA Anything outside the desk is quoted separately, as a fixed fee or at £150 per hour. Need a new course rather than support? [**~~SCORM development starts here~~**](https://scormspecialist.co.uk/services/scorm-development).Three tiers, no meter ## **Pricing ** Pick the tier that matches your ticket volume. All prices exclude VAT and are billed monthly in advance. ### **Starter**Most common**£500** Per month · 3 hours - **✓**First response within 2 business days - **✓**Fix plan within 5 business days - **✓**Month-one baseline diagnostic included - **✓**Compatibility log and monthly report Best for: one product, a few tickets a month [**Start with Starter**](https://scormspecialist.co.uk/contact) ### **Standard****£1,500** Per month · 10 hours - **✓**First response within 1 business day - **✓**Fix plan within 3 business days - **✓**Month-one baseline diagnostic included - **✓**Direct line to your customers' LMS admins Best for: several products or an LMS-heavy customer base [**Start with Standard**](https://scormspecialist.co.uk/contact) ### **Priority****£2,500** Per month · 20 hours - **✓**First response the same business day - **✓**Fix plan within 2 business days - **✓**Month-one baseline diagnostic included - **✓**Direct line to your customers' LMS admins Best for: agencies and vendors where a broken course blocks a go-live [**Start with Priority**](https://scormspecialist.co.uk/contact) ### **How the hours work**- **✓****Month one is the fix.** Every tier starts with a baseline diagnostic of your current package: publish settings, tracking logic, known faults reproduced and fixed at the root. It does not draw down your hours. - **✓****Quiet months roll over.** Unused hours carry forward one month, then expire. You are never paying for a month where nothing broke. - **✓****Busy months don't surprise you.** Hours beyond your allowance are £125 per hour in 30-minute blocks, billed in arrears. I tell you before I go over. - **✓****Three months, then rolling.** A three-month minimum so the month-one work pays off, then month to month with 30 days' notice. Paid monthly in advance by card.Step by step ## **How a ticket flows ** From the moment your customer says "it doesn't work" to a fixed package and a note you can forward.**01**### **Forward the ticket**2 minutes Your customer says the course won't launch or won't complete. You forward it to your support desk address, or CC me on the thread. No portal, no forms.**02**### **I acknowledge and ask for the essentials**Within SLA Within your tier's response time I reply with what I need: LMS name and version, which package version they loaded, a screenshot of the tracking data, and whether they will allow a screen-share.**03**### **Reproduce and diagnose**1–3 hours I reproduce the fault in SCORM Cloud first, then in the customer's LMS if they permit it. Most completion problems come down to publish settings, SCORM version mismatches, or how the LMS reads completion versus success. I find which.**04**### **Fix and explain**Same ticket You get a patched package, or the exact publish settings to change, plus a plain-English note you can forward to the customer. The fix goes in your compatibility log so the next customer on the same LMS is a five-minute job.**05**### **Monthly report**Monthly A short summary each month: tickets, hours used and remaining, and any pattern worth fixing at source so the tickets stop coming. Consultation is a one-off: you have a problem, I fix it, we're done. The Support Desk is ongoing. Your customers keep raising tickets over months and years because they keep loading your course into new LMSs. The desk gives you a standing arrangement with a response time, so nobody on your team has to become the SCORM expert. If you only have one broken course, book a consultation instead.![Scout celebrating success - SCORM course completed!](https://scormspecialist.co.uk/scout/scout-success.svg) ## **Ready to take SCORM tickets off your team's desk?** Tell me what you publish, which LMSs your customers use, and roughly how many tickets you see a month. I'll recommend a tier and we can start with the month-one fix.
